Spectacular videos - popular science at its best!

A million thanks to the authors!
I really love this kind of stuff, and I think there should be more on TV, for kids and not... :D

Otherwise how else can I learn and keep up-to-date w.r.t new technologies that are raining on me everyday?
For example: I used to have an idea about how an harddrive works, but now you have memory sticks and that's a totally different concept (isn't it?!), so now I'm back a "black box"...

Anyway take a look at what you can do with a few magnets, batteries and common electric wires:
- the simples motor you can build (homopolar motor)
- (and of course!) an even simple motor!
- even cooler: a levitation homopolar motor
- a video about magnetic levitation (an evergreen! :D )
- ferromagnetic black liquid that changes shape
