"Planilum" is being referred to as the first ‘light emitting glass’, and it was co-developed over 6 years by Saazs and Saint-Gobain Innovations (France).
Composed of four layer of special glass with rare gas and serigraphed phosphors, 90% recyclable.
It reminds me the plasma technology and despite the good idea, there is no info about the energy consuption, critical in this period...
