Waiting for the thing to came more affordable to all persons, I suggest the Virtual Spectator: realtime telemetry of event like the Louis Vuitton Cup, the World Rally Championship, even the Olympic games.
Why? Because you can watch the event and see info of every competitors when, where and how YOU want (in realtime). And with the power of the 3dvideocard of today,when possible, the experience is amazing.
