This game reminds me of a 2D Turing machine (Turmite), and it is really cool! :D
I just remade a bit of the engine of this amazing game, using processing.js: please feel free to download and play with it (here in HTML using processing.js).
Since I really like the game, and I don't want to clone it without the permission of the original creators, I only implemented a bit of the engine and a much simpler graphics. I will not post more advanced versions. Consider this as a tribute from a fan :)
